Tom Curtain’s brand new single HERE’S TO YOU, featuring powerhouse country vocalist Laura Frank, dropped Friday 8 August 2025 — and it’s already shaping up to be your new favourite country anthem.
The song is a heartfelt shoutout to the unsung heroes of regional Australia — the early risers, quiet achievers, and everyday battlers who keep the country moving. It’s the kind of song you’ll want to blast from the ute, sing around a fire, or send to someone who just gets the job done without ever asking for thanks.
Whether you’re tuning in from the bush, the coast, or somewhere in between — Here’s To You is for you.

What Is HERE’S TO YOU About?

At its core, HERE’S TO YOU is a musical salute to the blue-collar people of Australia — the tradies, the farmers, the stock workers, the single parents, the families raising kids on the land, and the ones showing up rain, hail, or shine.
Through lines like:
“Cut their teeth in the heat in their workin’ boots”
“Livin’ out life like a country song”
the song brings to life the pride, grit, humour and sheer determination of Aussies who may not make headlines, but who absolutely deserve to be celebrated.
It’s equal parts thank you, fist-pump and Friday knock-off anthem.
Here’s To You Full Lyrics
He grew up in the sticks, long days in the dust
Had to duck and weave on that old school bus
They said he didn’t have a chance, he wouldn’t make the team
But he never stopped believin’ now he’s livin’ the dream – yeah
She grew up on a horse where the river gums lean
Long days in the saddle, wearin’ out jeans
She got bucked off hard, she had to walk 10 miles
Showed up back at the yards with a bruise and a smile – whoo
Chorus
Here’s to the sons and daughters with blue collar roots
Who cut their teeth in the heat in their workin’ boots
Here’s to the crew out here, proud and strong
Livin’ out life like a country song
We raise ‘em high when the day is through
Here’s to them, Here’s to us, Here’s to me, Here’s to you
(Here’s to them, Here’s to us, Here’s to me, Here’s to you)
They moved out the stock, as the flood waters rose
Stuck on the roof, nothing but clothes
How do you come back from something like that?
But they did, true grit, ‘cos they’re made outback – that’s right!
Chorus
Here’s to the sons and daughters with blue collar roots
Who cut their teeth in the heat in their workin’ boots
Here’s to the crew out here, proud and strong
Livin’ out life like a country song
We raise ‘em high when the day is through
Here’s to them, Here’s to us, Here’s to me, Here’s to you
Instrumental:
Bridge:
Woah yeah
Bush raised, country grit
We got no fear, we never quit
Chorus
Here’s to the sons and daughters, blue collar roots
They’re cuttin’ teeth in the heat in their workin’ boots
Here’s to the crew out here, proud and strong
Livin’ out life like a country song
Here’s to the sons and daughters with blue collar roots
Who cut their teeth in the heat in their workin’ boots
Here’s to the crew out here, proud and strong
Livin’ out life like a country song
We raise ‘em high when the day is through
Here’s to them, Here’s to us, Here’s to me, Here’s to you
The Story Behind the Song

After years on the road touring through rural and remote parts of Australia, Tom Curtain and his team have met thousands of people — many with stories you’ll never forget.
It was these conversations, road trips and roadside yarns that inspired Here’s To You.
“We’ve met so many amazing people — kind, hardworking, tough-as-nails folks who just get on with it,” Tom said. “This song came out of wanting to put all those stories and that spirit into a single track.”
HERE’S TO YOU isn’t just a catchy tune — it’s a tribute with heart. It shines a light on the people we often overlook, and it gives them a musical moment that says, “We see you. We thank you.”
It’s a song that connects generations and speaks a truth every Aussie knows: the country doesn’t run on headlines — it runs on heart, hard work, and the people who give their all day in and day out.
Tom co-wrote the song while criss-crossing Australia with the Katherine Outback Experience, blending live music with working dog demos, horse training, and good old-fashioned bush storytelling.
About the Duet: Tom Curtain & Laura Frank

HERE’S TO YOU features the incredible vocals of Laura Frank, an artist Tom has been touring with for several years. Known for her commanding stage presence and distinctive voice, Laura brings a powerful emotional layer to the track.
Their voices blend seamlessly, creating a duet that’s both bold and uplifting — with harmonies that bring the chorus home in a big way.
This isn’t the first time Tom and Laura have teamed up, and if this song is anything to go by, it definitely won’t be the last.
Behind the Video: A Sunset Tribute from WA

The music video for HERE’S TO YOU was filmed at Barn Hill Station in Western Australia — a place known for its striking red cliffs, salt air, and jaw-dropping sunsets.
“It felt like the perfect place to honour the Aussies who show up every day and keep doing the work,” Tom shared.
The visual captures that outback stillness and strength — a fitting match to the energy of the song. Barn Hill Station also happens to be where Tom proposed to his wife Annabel back in 2017.
