Is the event pet-friendly?
No, Tom Curtain’s tour events are not pet-friendly. For the safety of the performing horses, working dogs, and goats in the arena, outside dogs and pets are strictly prohibited. Registered guide and assistance dogs are always welcome. If you must travel with a pet, please ensure they remain secured in your vehicle in the shade with ample water.
What’s the show schedule?
The standard event schedule begins with gates opening 30 minutes prior to the first performance. The program generally includes:
– Live music support act (30 mins) — Featuring special guests including Laura Frank on select East Coast dates.
– Katherine Outback Experience Show (1 hour live horse-starting & working dog demo)
– Live country music featuring Chris Matthews and guest musicians (30 mins)
– Tom Curtain & Band live performance, supported by all artists (1 hour)The event closes 30 minutes after the show concludes. Please check your confirmation email before attending for specific gate opening times and the local artist lineup, as Sunday matinees differ from evening shows.
Do you accept Companion / Carers cards?
Yes, we gladly accept valid Companion and Carer Cards for free entry. Please select the “Companion Card” option when booking tickets online and present your physical card at the gate. We accommodate a maximum of two companions per guest unless prior arrangements are made.

Yes, most venues do not have seating. We encourage guests to bring their own chair and sit as close as possible to the Outback Show arena. A blanket or cushion also works well.

This depends strictly on the venue. If a licensed bar is operating at the event, BYO alcohol is strictly prohibited by law. Do we need to book a Child ticket if children are free?
Yes, all attendees, including children aged 5 and under, must have a booked ticket. Even though child tickets are free, booking them allows us to accurately manage venue capacity limits and estimate catering numbers for the local community groups.
