2023/24 Tour Recap: Mungindi, NSW

The Tom Curtain “Why We Live Out Here” tour’s stop in Mungindi turned into a memorable Sunday session that the kids – and adults alike – won’t soon forget! After a long road trip from Queensland, losing an hour on the way and dealing with dodgy trailer tyres, the team made it just in time, thanks to a quick fix by Jake at Mungindi Tyre and Battery. The unique black soil of Mungindi made for a spectacular setting, though we kept the truck on the gravel to avoid getting bogged down. The event drew a wonderful crowd from the region including like Goondiwindi, Moree, and St George, reuniting old friends and creating new memories. Mungindi truly showed its vibrant spirit and hospitality, making this tour stop exceptionally special.
